Safety Info & Rules

  • General Rules
    • Please be respectful of other guests privacy and sleep. Keep noise levels to a minimum during quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
    • No parties or loud gatherings in the guesthouse or guest rooms.
    • No loud music or noise in the shared areas that can be heard from other rooms.
    • Glass is not allowed in the pool area. Please use plastic cups or cans for your drinks.
    • Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. No smoking inside the guesthouse or in non-designated areas.
    • Keep the shared areas clean and tidy after use.
    • The pool and terrace areas are open from 8:30 am to 9 pm.
    • Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings and valuables. Casa Amarela Guesthouse is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
    • Respect the property and do not damage any furniture, decor, or amenities.
    • For safety reasons, do not leave children unattended in any area of the guesthouse.
    • Please do not remove any items from the guesthouse, including towels and linens.
    • Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of property during their stay.
    • Any damages or broken items must be reported to the front desk immediately.
    • We do not provide daily cleaning, but we can change towels, bedding, and do light cleaning upon request.
    • No outside guests are allowed to visit or stay overnight without prior permission from the guesthouse management.
    • No pets allowed unless prior permission is granted by the guesthouse management.
    • Guests are not permitted to rearrange furniture or decor in the guesthouse.
    • No candles or open flames are allowed in the guesthouse.
    • Adhere to any local laws and regulations.
    • Due to recurrent issues with neighbors, during periods when we host groups of more than 4 people, all outdoor areas will be closed from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

    We appreciate your cooperation in following these rules to ensure a comfortable and safe stay for all guests.

  • Quiet Times

    We want to ensure that all of our guests have a peaceful and enjoyable stay. We kindly ask that you be respectful of other guests and our neighbors by observing quiet times from 22:00 to 8:00. During these hours, we ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum, especially in common areas and corridors.

    We also ask that you be mindful of noise levels when entering or leaving the guesthouse during any hour, as other guests may be sleeping. Please close doors quietly and avoid talking loudly or making unnecessary noise.

    We take these policies seriously to ensure that all of our guests have a comfortable and restful stay. If you have any questions or concerns about our quiet time policies, please don't hesitate to ask our staff. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration for the comfort of all guests and our neighbors.

  • Smoking Policy

    We strive to provide a healthy and comfortable environment for all of our guests. Therefore, smoking is only allowed in designated open areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and indoor common areas.

    We kindly ask that you be respectful of other guests who may not want to be exposed to secondhand smoke, and to properly dispose of cigarette butts and other smoking materials in the designated ashtrays.

    Please note that all of our rooms are equipped with smoke detectors to ensure the safety of all guests. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a healthy and comfortable environment for all of our guests. If you have any questions or concerns about our smoking policy, please don't hesitate to ask us.

  • Pets

    We love animals and understand the importance of our furry friends to many of our guests. However, we have chosen to make this a pet-free place to stay due to a variety of reasons including allergies and hygiene concerns.

    We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in keeping our guesthouse a clean and comfortable environment for all of our guests. If you have any questions or concerns about our pet policy, please don't hesitate to ask our staff for recommendations on nearby pet-friendly accommodations.

  • Breakages

    Accidents can happen. If you happen to break something during your stay, please let us know immediately. For minor damages, we typically won't charge you. However, for more significant damages such as a broken TV screen, we will need to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later.

    We appreciate your understanding in keeping our guesthouse in excellent condition for future guests. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • What To Do In An Emergency

    In case of an emergency please follow these steps:

    1. Remain calm and locate the nearest emergency exit.
    2. Call us on +351 963 639 042 immediately and inform about the situation.
    3. Follow the instructions given.
    4. If you need medical assistance, please inform the staff immediately so they can contact the local emergency services.
    5. If there is a fire, activate the nearest fire alarm and evacuate the building immediately.

    We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously and have procedures in place to handle emergencies. If you have any concerns or questions about emergency procedures, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance.

    For emergency services (ambulance, police, fire) please immediately call 112. Do not delay if you feel an emergency situation has arisen. Our location is: Rua Doutor Diogo Leote 49 in Albufeira.

  • In Case Of a Fire

    In case of a fire at Casa Amarela Guesthouse, please follow these steps:

    1. If you discover a fire, activate the nearest fire alarm and evacuate the building immediately.
    2. Assemble at the designated meeting point, which is located at a safe distance from the building.
    3. Call the emergency services, on number 112, immediately and provide them with your location and the details of the fire.
    4. If possible, use a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, but only if it is safe to do so and you have been trained to use it.
    5. Do not attempt to re-enter the building until a Fire Officer states that it is safe to do so.
    6. If you are unable to evacuate due to smoke or fire blocking your exit, close all doors and windows, and block any gaps with wet towels or clothing. Call the emergency services and inform them of your location.

    We take fire safety seriously, and we have fire alarms, smoke detectors and extinguishers. We also conduct regular fire safety checks to ensure that all equipment is in working order. If you have any concerns or questions about fire safety, please don't hesitate to ask our staff for assistance.

  • Emergency Phone Numbers

    If you believe an emergency situation has occurred, please do not hesitate to call 112 immediately for emergency services. Delaying a response could potentially worsen the situation.
